On This Week in History - 5 June

After extensive research and examination it has become apparent that absolutely nothing of importance happened during this week in all of history.

I have found some references to an incident in 1943 involving a one week temporary truce between a US Aircraft Carrier, a German U-Boat, and a Japanese Destroyer near an Island in the South Pacific that was occupied by nothing but female headhunters.

But there doesn't seem to be much of a story there.
